Pando Network
Q 60. How does PoS (Proof-of-Stake) work on Mainnet 2.0?
In Mainnet 2.0, the PoS will be On-Chain, your PoS rewards will be directly distributed by the chain. The PoS rewards will be calculated based on your staking amount and will be distributed across the year from the moment of your staking and activation of your Rametron Node. The PoS rewards range from 10% to 15% annually which will be distributed over the 12-month period. The More you Stake, the Higher your Rewards.
Q 61. How does PoE (Proof-of-Engagement) work in Mainnet 1.0?
In Mainnet 1.0, PoE is rewarded based on work done. As a Rametron works to transcode to different file formats which we call "flavors" as a terminology in IT, currently Rametron adds 3 different flavors, which are 480p, 720p and 1080p. We will add more flavors from time to time. If your Rametron adds a flavor, this means it adds 1/3 of total transcoding per minute. If your Rametron adds 2 flavors, this means that it equates to 2/3 total transcoding per minute. Transcoding per minute 0.01875
In Mainnet 2.0,
We will peg the transcoding fees at the original price.
0.20 USDT = 0.01875, so if the PTX price against USDT drops, the PTX rewarded per minute will increase. If the PTX price against USDT increases, the PTX rewards will decrease.
Q 62. How does POE (Proof-of-Engagement) work in Mainnet 2.0?
In Mainnet 2.0, our focus is on the Community's contributions towards the Pando Ecosystem. For PoE, the Rametron Node Holder is rewarded per minute, and it will have a direct correlation on the current PTX price. Due to price fluctuations, we will take the 3 months average price to calculate your PoE rewards based on the PTX price for this mechanism. It won't be a fixed amount of token per minute like in Mainnet 1.0.
Firstly we will peg the per minute PTX with 0.20 USDT.
Per minute = 0.20 USDT = 0.01875 PTX.
And the formula to calculate PoE is:
PTX rewards per minute = 0.01875*( 0.2/current price)
In this way, the community will be assured that at any price that the PTX will have, our community will receive rewards at the same rate of 0.2=0.01875PTX.
For example, if the PTX price is 0.03 your POE calculation will be:
PoE = 0.01875*(0.2/0.03)= 0.125
Q 63. What is PoE's Threshold for Rametron Pro and Rametron Enterprise?
Both Rametron Pro and Enterprise will have PoE Threshold, which means that users will get minimum PoE rewards in the case a particular user's PoE earning is below the Threshold. The Threshold will be calculated based on an average of 3 months of PTX price.
Only those who fall below the Threshold will have their PoE adjusted at the end of the month. The Threshold for both Rametron Pro and Rametron Enterprise will be announced later in the latest Whitepaper in December, 2022.
Situation : User A, who is a pioneer, wants to stake their tokens in 2 different Rametron Node in Mainnet 2.0 into the same wallet that is eligible for GPS right now. Will the GPS be applicable for both Rametrons?
First of all, one wallet can only stake to one type of Rametron. Thus, only one Rametron will be eligible for GPS.
Q 63. Will there be a new protocol added in Mainnet 2.0? Yes, Proof-of-View (PoV) is a new protocol that will be generating rewards for Node Holders in the Pando Mainnet 2.0. It will allow users to generate PTX by simply watching advertisements in all our Pando DApps. Q 64. Is the CLI for the Rametron and Metatron Node found in the Pando Explorer usable for MacOS, Windows, Linux and server?
Yes, visit https://doc.pandoproject.org to download your CLI to set your Rametron or Metatron Node in your respective computer or server.

Q 90. Can other App Developers use our Rametron Nodes to solve their last mile delivery problems?
Yes, other App Developers can use our Pando Network to solve their last mile delivery problems. This is made possible by the interoperability of the PandoProject. PandoProject is an open-source platform that allows both centralized and decentralized application, website or system Developers the ability to leverage our platform and infrastructure to host and stream video and data files using the Pando Network. Developers pay in PTX (Pando Token) based on utilization of the network and for its services. As an example, game developers can stream in-game video content to players, host tournaments and broadcast real time gameplay, or run their own online channel to stream content to their viewers. Security companies that provide a service of storing and safeguarding video footage or livestreams from their CCTV’s can utilize the Rametrons for Decentralized Storage, IoT and Security. PandoProject runs anywhere high-performance video and data file delivery is needed. We have developed a series of APIs and SDKs to enable seamless standards for integration, allowing developers to quickly deploy solutions within our platform. This is an easy, efficient and affordable Plug-and-Play Blockchain Infrastructure as a Service. It eliminates the costs of centralized delivery networks and its infrastructure while elevating the process into a secure and efficient blockchain environment.
Q 91. Are the Metatron and Zytatron Node using the same protocol in the Pando Blockchain?
Yes, they both use the same protocol, but each has a different purpose. Zytatron Nodes initiate the block creation and have full records of the Pando Blockchain, while the Metatron Node will finalize the block created by the Zytratron Node and the Metatron Node will only hold certain key records on the Pando Blockchain.
Q 92. If the Zytatron and Metatron Nodes are doing a similar job in the Pando Blockchain, will the Zytatron and Metatron Nodes need to compete with each other to complete their respective jobs?
The Zytatron Node will never compete with the Metatron Node. The Zytatron Node is an Enterprise Node and is the first layer of security in the Pando Blockchain and there are only less than 30 of these Nodes available. The Metatron Node is the second layer of security and is held by a growing number of Community-Members in the PandoProject. The Zytatron and Metatron Nodes have different jobs in the Pando Blockchain.
Q 93. What is IPFS?
IPFS stands for Interplanetary File System. At its core it is a versioned file system which can store files and track versions over time, very much like Git. It also defines how files move across a network, making it a distributed file system, much like BitTorrent. In combining these two properties, IPFS enables a new permanent web and augments the way we use existing internet protocols like HTTP.
Simply put, the internet is a collection of protocols that describe how data moves around a network. Developers adopted these protocols over time and built their applications on top of this infrastructure. One of the protocols that serves as the backbone of the web is HTTP or HyperText Transfer Protocol.
Q 94. Can an existing application which uses a CDN server transition to the PandoProject platform?
Yes, any application can use our Pando Network which consists of the Zytatron, Metatron and Rametron Node to decentralize their streaming and solve their lag.
Q 95. Will the Zytatron, Metatron and Rametron Nodes generate more PTX if there are more DApps in the PandoProject? What will happen to the value of PTX?
Yes, the Zytatron, Metatron and Rametron Nodes will generate more PTX because there will be more tasks in the Pando Network if there are more DApps in the PandoProject. The Rametron Nodes will relay and translate more videos and data files within the PandoProject while the Zytatron and Metatron Nodes will verify more transactions in the Pando Blockchain because there is more activity through the addition of the Pando DApps. On top of that, PTX (Pando Token) in return will increase in value because of further utilization that occurs when there are more Pando Dapps added into the PandoProject.
